Trabant being trailered in Hunt Valley.

I wonder if most Trabants get from place to place on trailers...

you'd be surprised how many trabants are in the Baltimore area... there's a guy who imports them here.

  2. Trabis are so basic that anything but catastrophic failures mean they can usually be repaired at the roadside, with a knife and fork and a Leatherman (I've done it).

Most of them also have a tow bar so they can tow a trailer (or caravan).

  3. Reg: that's at great way for a car to be. That's why I loved my air cooled 70's VW's - with the idiots guide, even I could change oil, adjust valves, etc. Simple is good.
